On Wednesday 15 February, the students in Year 3 became their very own Mini Boss! Students worked in teams, did market research, designed their own company, made chocolate products and wrapped them in custom-designed packaging ready to sell, all while learning about Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
Not only is Enterprise one of the Dimensions in our College-wide Vision for Learning, it is increasingly considered a vital mindset and skill for Australia’s continued social and economic prosperity.
Working within a budget and a tight timeline, great learning and fun was had as students displayed creativity, teamwork, public speaking, financial literacy and critical thinking. Miss Emma Watters, Mr James Dimauro and Mr Andrew Schuyler are not sure if any of the products made it home, but the students have said that their creations not only looked great, but tasted great too!
