Excellent Swims and PBs at GISSA
NONE

On Wednesday 8 March, 50 students from The Geelong College Middle and Senior schools competed  in the Geelong Independent Schools Swimming competition at Geelong Grammar.

There were many excellent swims and personal best times recorded on the day. Particularly exciting was the last race of the day, the Open Boys' Medley Relay, when Lachie Congdon valiantly attempted to catch his rivals in the lanes beside him, only to come second by the narrowest of margins, 1/100th of a second.

The College's Girls' team came first overall, with the Senior Girls coming first and Senior Boys in second place. Congratulations to all competitors for their outstanding performances on the day. It was great to see many ribbons proudly displayed.
