Cricketers Return from UK Tour
NONE

The cricket tour of the United Kingdom has been a very successful one for the 23 College cricketers who enjoyed a most memorable three weeks of cricket and sightseeing around England and Wales.

The boys played at schools such as Sedbergh School in the picturesque Lakes District, Christ College Brecon in Wales and the Skinners' School in Tunbridge Wells, England. They also enjoyed the hospitality and picturesque grounds of some local village clubs in Gloucester, Cardiff and Hampshire. They returned with a very commendable 16 wins and five losses!

As well as playing cricket, the touring party had fun sightseeing in the historic cities of Bath, Salisbury and London, learning about the origins of Stonehenge, touring Lord's Cricket Ground and Old Trafford Stadium, and experiencing the adrenaline rush on the hair-raising rides at the Alton Towers theme park.

The boys all appreciated the competitive cricket played, the immense history of the places visited and meeting some wonderful people throughout the tour.
