Learning to be Resilient

On Thursday 26 October, Years 7 and 8 students were privileged to hear from former AFL player Martin Heppell from the Resilience Project. Martin used personal stories combined with facts and research to explore the issue and importance of resilience and how living with gratitude, empathy and mindfulness can support our own mental health.

With lots of information to digest, the students walked away with their own unique understanding of the messages and tools to use in their everyday lives.

They also received a lot of hugs!
