Transit Lounge Opens for Viewing

The College community has celebrated the creative journeys of our VCE Art and Design students at the opening night of the Transit Lounge exhibition.

The Keith Humble Centre has been transformed into a gallery to display the breadth and depth of our student talent, reflecting their creativity, dedication, perseverance, grit, diversity, thinking, problem-solving and passion.

Photographer Ferne Millen (OGC 1996) was our special guest at the opening night on Thursday 26 October. Ferne was a dedicated art student at College, who has since followed a wonderful journey into commercial and creative photography.

She used digital photography, Photoshop, inkjet printing and laser cutting to make a powerful piece, exploring the complex notions of the word "sonder", which is the realisation that each random person is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.

The exhibition is open weekdays until Thursday 2 November, 10am-6pm, and this weekend, 10am-4pm.
