Winning Ways at Wendouree
NONE

Congratulations to The Geelong College's Senior School rowers, who impressed yet again at the weekend's Wendouree Ballarat Regatta.

The girls pictured above won the Female U/19 Coxed VIII on Saturday at the Wendouree Ballarat Regatta. A great result for their fourth race of the day and triumph over a number of crews who beat them in the previous three races of the day.

Other great results came from the our Year 10 girls who won Divisions 1, 2 and 6, came second in Division 3, and third in Division 5 of their A Finals in the Year 10 Girls' Coxed IVs.

Our Year 9 girls claimed a third in Division 6 of the Year 9 Girls Coxed IVs.

Next weekend sees our Year 9 boys in their first regatta of the season at Footscray on the Maribyrnong River, with the Senior and Year 10 boys heading to Nagambie for the Nagambie Regatta. All girls crews will train this Saturday on the Barwon River.

Our current crews' development is giving the College rowing community plenty to celebrate at the upcoming 130 Years of Rowing dinner. This significant event on Saturday 17 February will celebrate the memories and people who have made the Boat Club what it is today.
