Middle School make a splash in the pool
NONE

Students in Years 7 and 8 competed in The Middle School House Swimming Championships on Friday March 9. This Carnival was the culmination of a six week swimming program at The Middle School. During this time students had the opportunity to work with teachers and guest instructors, refining or adding to their swimming skills in the areas of technique, starts and turns.

At the Carnival students competed in three of the major strokes with butterfly being an option.  Opportunities were on offer to participate in various relays with some brave Year 8’s competing in a Mini Iron Man Event.  We had some deserving winners in the Age Championship events.  Congratulations to Minerva House who were the winners of the 2018 Swimming Carnival.

Thank you to all students who competed and to the staff, student helpers, parents and swimming pool staff who helped make the Carnival the success it was.
