Students & Staff's Speedy Sandwich Session
NONE

The Middle School Canteen was abuzz with enthusiastic students and staff who volunteered to make more than 800 sandwiches for local students today.

About 15 Years 7-8 students and staff came together for the Eat Up sandwich-making workshop on Friday 27 April, putting together the required 820 sandwiches in just one hour. This brings the College's total to more than 5500 sandwiches over several workshops since August 2017.

The sandwiches are then delivered to schools in the Geelong region to be frozen and then given to a student when needed, from now until our next sandwich-making session. The Vegemite or cheese sandwiches go to children in our area who arrive at school without food from home, and who are not always fed at home.

Many in our College community have had the opportunity to participate in an Eat Up workshop, including students, staff, parents, and even grandparents. Stay tuned to the College's Bulletin, website and social media for details of our next event!
