Surf Lifesavers Shine at National Level

Geelong College students, staff and Old Collegians competed at the highest level of Surf Life Saving for their clubs from 14 to 21 April 2018 at Scarborough Beach, WA, in the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.

  • Tristan Read (staff - Recreation Centre Manager) – 3rd Tube Race, 1st 2km Swim, 1st Surf Race (40-44yr)
  • Harriet Brown (OGC 2008) – 1st Open Board, 1st Ski Relay, 1st Surf Teams
  • James Porter (OGC 2011) – 1st Lifesaver Relay, 7th Open Board, 6th Open Ski, 6th Open Taplin Relay, 6th Open Board Relay, 9th Open Ski Relay, 10th Open Mixed Double Ski, Open Male Double Ski.
