Career Pathways Showcased at Expo
NONE

Students from Years 9 to 12 had a chance to find out more about career pathways at this year’s College Careers Expo in the Keith Humble Centre yesterday, Wednesday 9 May.

Hundreds of students and parents flowed through the George Logie-Smith Auditorium and Costa Theatre from 4pm to 7pm, with about 50 industry professionals, higher education representatives and university students generously volunteering to share their knowledge and experiences.

Industries covered included accounting and finance, allied health, architecture, audio-visual and cinematography, aviation, engineering, fashion design, forensic science, IT, journalism, law, medicine, nursing, osteopathy, paramedicine, pharmacy, psychology, scientist, town planning, veterinary science and many more.

Deakin University, The Gordon, Marcus Oldham College, Apprenticeships Matter, and first-time attendees Study & Play USA and The Duke of Ed were also represented. Their contribution complemented the excellent range of presenters.

We hope that students and parents enjoyed the evening and had the chance to speak to many of our expo guests in various career pathways.

The Careers Centre would like to thank the guests who attended, many of whom were Old Collegians and College parents.
