Year 7s Team Up to Make 1000+ Lunches

The Middle School Canteen was a hub of activity today, as some Year 7 students worked together to make 1110 sandwiches for disadvantaged Geelong children.

Year 7E spent about an hour making the cheese sandwiches, with Chris from Eat Up Australia there to lead the workshop. Eat Up is a charity which aims to ensure no child goes hungry at school, a cause we have been proud to support since 2017.

The sandwiches were then delivered to our support schools in the Geelong region, thanks to our parent volunteers. They're then frozen so that they can be handed out to a student when needed in the coming weeks.

Great work, 7E!
