The Old Geelong Collegians' Association and APS Sport have held functions on Friday to honour staff for longstanding service.

The OGCA's Staff Cocktail Party after school on Friday 9 November celebrated Jane Utting for her 25 years of service to the College. Jane received honorary life membership of the OGCA, while the following staff were also thanked for completing five years at the College: Tim Colbert, Robert Dunn, Jess Flowers, Sue Gook, Janette Haby, Richard Hanley, Kirin Heard, Fiona McLean, Nerida Morgan, Daniella Nikolovski, Emma Oates, Emma O’Callaghan, Siobhan Potter, Nicole Rawson, Delle Ritchie, Kate Sculley, Bernardine Shier, Rose Stubbs, Carolyn Tonkin, Kristen Wiadrowski and Cortney Williamson.

Later that evening, some sports staff travelled to Melbourne for the annual APS Delegates Dinner, where Dan Clifford and Tim Parkes were recognised for their long and outstanding service to APS Sport. Debbie Filling spoke on behalf of Tim (41 years of service) and Mark Cheatley spoke on behalf of Dan (30 years). Across all the APS schools, 24 people were honoured for a total of 587 years of service.

We thank Jane, Dan and Tim for their many years of commitment and dedication to our students.
