Year 3

As our leaders of Junior School, Year 3 students develop the personal qualities to become role models to their younger peers. They lead our fortnightly Assemblies and host special Junior School events. The students relish the opportunity to mentor their Prep buddies, sharing both social and academic learning experiences. The students also benefit from a buddy relationship with a Year 6 student from their House. This promotes a sense of belonging in preparation for their transition to Middle School.

This promotes a sense of belonging in preparation for their transition to Middle School. As autonomous learners, students use their literacy and numeracy skills to think critically and reflectively in all aspects of their learning. These skills enable more in depth exploration of inquiry projects. Specialist classes held weekly enhance the learning opportunities and are connected with classroom investigations.
